I can understand you Sanjin. Tripoli is extreme in this case. But at the end of the season it will balance out. And you have to finish first. I used to have the Cooper, too, and on some tracks I didn't stand a chance. But you still had fun

I agree, that's how it is. At Albi my best lap was 4 tenths off the world record, and that was with more of a race setup (tyre pressures), yet I was only able to qualify 8th. On top of that the BRM has the highest fuel consumption out of any car and so I had the disadvantage in the early stage of the race. However at high-speed circuits like Tripoli the BRM can shine because the top speed is similar to Ferrari and Brabham. There are pros and cons to every car. And I personally like the challenge I'm facing. Speaking of which, I would suggest to have another look at the car balance after this next race. There is an imbalance that I would like to discuss.
Well, I have no clue how you can complete the 32 laps at Tripoli race with the Honda and BRM, without the pit stop patch (not allowed at GELI). I suppose a lot of lift and coast up to a point it has to be teethgrinding.
I think I can get away with full throttle whole race in the Cooper, but last time here I blew up the Maserati early race.

I looked at engine temp... and choose a quite long 5th to limit it under 110°C...
Angesichts der Überschaubarkeit in unserem gemütlichen Wohnzimmerforum dürfen hier Unterhaltungen durchaus mal ein wenig abschweifen, ohne das gleich ein wildgewordener Moderator reingrätschen muß.
Was natürlich nicht heißt, daß das nicht vorkommen kann.
Ich will hier bezüglich Freitag mal einwerfen: Im iGor Setup Shop kann man in alle Setupfelder per manueller Eingabe Werte einfügen, die (bis zu einer gewissen Grenze) nicht limitiert sind, so auch für die Benzinmenge, die man so über den Maximalwert von 189 Litern/50 Gallonen von Vanilla-GPL erhöhen kann. So gäbe es für alle die Möglichkeit, es komfortabel unabhängig vom Benzinverbrauch des jeweiligen Autos ohne Lift and Coast ins Ziel zu schaffen. Spricht was dagegen, davon Gebruch zu machen? An sich kann man solche Setup-Anpassungen (leider) ja sowieso nicht richtig überwachen...
