Der Startcrash geht ganz allein auf meine Kappe. Sorry an Manfred S. und alle, die ich damit aus der Bahn geworfen bzw. den Spaß am Weiterfahren genommen habe. Ich hab mich beim seitlichen Abstand schlicht verschätzt und bin, weil ich einen Tick später angebremst hab, in Manfred reingefahren.
@Ebi: das Grafik-Addon, bei dem die Boxenmauer fehlt, hab ich jetzt endgültig runtergenommen. Ich dacht, ich könnt das Addon lassen, ohne über die fehlende Mauer, die ja mit einer weißen Linie gekennzeichnet ist, rüberzufahren. ----------------------------------------------------- Das Auto war so gut, ich brauchte nur zu lenken. Auf dem Bild sieht man, daß in der Saison 1/2006 schon Jemand ohne Boxenmauer "erwischt" wurde - in dem Race-Thread wurde das als cheaten bezeichnet. Also saugt euch meine Version, ist praktisch die von Pit´s Update-CD aber halt mit der Mauer. Auch wenn sie ein Zaun ist...
Fahren wir Alle die gleiche Version, gibt´s keine "Mauerdurchbrecher" mehr und wir erleben *hoffentlich* ein Kyalami-Rennen ohne T1-Massaker.
Daß wir das können, haben wir in Monza gezeigt, der Start dort was klasse

Hmmm, werde wohl die Startaufstellung noch ein wenig überarbeiten, damit alle etwas weiter links platziert sind, dann ist rechts Platz genug zum Überholen, auch mit Mauer. Gruß
Matthes, nu mal ganz logger... hab ja nie gesagt daß Jemand hier absichtlich cheatet nur ist daß mit der Boxenmauer in Kyalami leider bei vielen Rennen so, daß 1 - 3 Leute "mauerlos" erwischt werden obwohl vor den Rennen darauf hingewiesen wird. Seit es das Update "ohne" gibt, wird darüber diskutiert ob man historisch korrekt ohne Mauer oder sicherer mit Mauer (wegen eventueller Shift-R-Stops) fahren soll. Allgemein hat sich die Version mit Mauer durchgesetzt, was ich auch ok finde.
Ferdi, gute Idee, man steht in der rechten Startreihe doch recht dicht dran, was an sich kein Problem ist. Heftig ist nur, daß die Mauer zum Ende eine leichte Biegung auf die Strecke macht, wer da zu dicht dran langfährt und links Jemand neben sich hat, steckt in der Klemme - wortwörtlich
Vielleicht wieder eine halbe Wagenbreite nach rechts zurück? Die linke Reihe ist jetzt hart an der Kante zum Beton. Wer beim beschleunigen mit ´nem kleinen Schlenker da dran kommt, kann leicht querschießen.
Aber jetzt ein paar worte zu meinem ersten rennen mit Euch. Es hat (nach jahren der abstinenz von GPL) mal wieder so RICHTIG spaß gemacht! @ Albert: shit happens... vielleicht war ich auch ein bißchen zu vorsichtig - aber ich wollte auf KEINEN fall jemanden gefährden. Das kommt als neuling nicht soo gut... Etwas unangenehmer ist mir aufgestoßen, daß mich jemand später bei seiner rückkehr auf die strecke in probleme gebracht hat. Sowas sollte eigentlich nicht passieren. Das wars aber schon. Ich fands schön und freue mich auf die nächsten rennen. Wenn ich mir aber meine "alten" zeiten ansehe und mit denen vergleiche, die ich jetzt zustande bringe gibts allerdings noch ewas zu tun... Das problem ist nur: dafür fehlt mich schlicht die zeit. Daher werde ich auf strecken, die ich noch nichtmal vom "hörensagen" her kenne, voraussichtlich nicht antreten. Das risiko, anderen das rennen kaputt zu machen ist mir einfach zu groß. Das hab ich in LeMans gesehen. Bin dort extra von hinten gestartet und wollte einfach zu zuende fahren. Durch "kuddelmuddel" vor mir war ich dann aber doch irgendwo im mittelfeld und hab ecken angebremst, die man mit wesentlich mehr speed fahren kann. Meine hinterleute haben damit natürlich nicht gerechnet und somit hats fürchterlich geknallt. Ich konnte zwar noch weiterfahren, der (oder die) anderen aber leider nicht mehr. Mir kams so vor als wär ich mit einem FIAT UNO im PORSCHE-CUP an den start gegangen...und das bringts nicht.

doch mit Pribluda, meiner Meinung nach ist das gerade dafür genial damit man z.Bsp. in Watkins Glen überhaupt mal einen guten Zeitpunkt erwischt gefahrlos wieder auf die Strecke zu gehen.
