Richtig geiles Rennen, hat ne Menge Schweiß und Nerven gekostet. Nachdem ich gleich in der ersten Kurve des Rennens durch die Wiese gepflügt bin, hätte ich nie damit gerechnet vorne ein Wörtchen mitreden zu können. Auch zwischendrin waren einige Momente, wo ich Auto und Rennen fast weggeworfen hätte. Ich freu mich jedenfalls tierisch über meinen ersten richtigen Sieg, an meiner Nervenstärke muß ich allerdings noch ordentlich arbeiten

jep. fortan wird der "towel day" nicht mehr am 25.5. gefeiert, sonderm am 10.8. so, genug der insidersprüche!
nochmal gratulation an die durchgekommenen und besonders an die ersten drei. habe hier noch kein so abwechslungsreiches und spannendes rennen gesehen. da macht auch das selbst verschuldete zusehen spaß!

Nochmals meine besondere Hochachtung für Andis Sieg, das war allerhärteste Arbeit. Freut mich, dass Andi damit die Tabelle wieder etwas von hinten aufgemischt hat. Großen aber auch für Ferdis Leistung, der sich mit seinem Cooper zwischen den beiden schnellen Kisten behaupten konnte.
Bei mir liefs am Anfang optimal: In der Quali den zweiten Platz belegt und dann auch sieben Runden geführt. Aber als ich Andi mit Riesenschritten im Rückspiegel näher kommen sah, wusste ich, dass wird diesmal kein "Salzburger Rennen" für mich. In T1 wurde mir dann die weiche Hinterrad-Aufhängung zum Verhängnis. Wie ein Gabelstapler lenkte die Hinterachse selbständig in die andere Richtung. Schuld war das extreme Huttu-Setup. Dieses war zwar gut für ne schnelle Runde, aber für meine Wenigkeit viel zu weich und nervös aufgehängt. Am Ende hab ich trotz der vielen Dreher die Zielflagge gesehen und bin in die Punkt gekommen - also alles im grünen Bereich.
