Ich habe hier seit letzter Woche keine Runden mehr gedreht und das gleiche Setup verwendet, da es gut funktioniert hat.
Im Quali hatte ich einen tollen Kampf mit Sanjin, als wir die Pole-Zeit ausgetauscht haben. Ich fuhr eine PB und war zufrieden.
Der Start war solide, aber Sanjin war besser, und er war aggressiv und übernahm die Führung, wobei er sich ein bisschen weit vorarbeitete. Ich versuchte zu überholen und die Führung zurückzuerobern, aber er hatte mich im Griff. In den ersten Runden machte Sanjin mächtig Druck und hatte bereits nach 3 Runden einen großen Vorsprung von 2 Sekunden. Wahrscheinlich hat er seine Reifen überhitzt, denn in den folgenden Runden konnte ich ihn einholen. Generell hatte ich das Gefühl, dass ich mehr Pace hatte, aber ich konnte keinen Zug machen. Sanjin hatte gute Ausgänge auf den Geraden und konnte einen kleinen Vorsprung herausfahren. Aber ich glaube, ich war in der ersten Kurve stärker, besonders zwischen 1 und 2. Und auch bei Degner 1 hatte ich mehr Speed, weil ich dort den inneren Randstein benutzt habe. Auch in der Hairpin war ich stark, vor allem in der späteren Bremsphase. Und das Casio Triangle konnte ich ziemlich sauber nehmen. Aber auch hier hatte Sanjin im Allgemeinen die besseren Ausgänge.
Er hat keine Fehler gemacht, manchmal kleine, aber nie genug, um vorbeizukommen. Natürlich habe ich auch ein paar kleine Fehler gemacht, aber indem ich ihm gefolgt bin, konnte ich die Reifen gut kontrollieren. Wir blieben immer dicht beieinander, und ein paar Mal wäre ich ihm fast in den Rücken gefahren, als er seitlich ausscherte oder die Einfahrt am Casio Triangle verpasste. Aber er war immer fair und versuchte, die Schikane zu schaffen. Später im Rennen wurde dann Ferdi überrundet, der sich dessen bewusst war, danke. Es war eine schwierige Stelle zum Überholen, zwischen Degner 1 und 2, aber wir haben es alle gut gemacht. Danke Ferdi, dass du mich auch überholen lassen hast.
Dann, etwa 8 Runden vor Schluss, hat Sanjin das Casio Triangle verpasst, und er war sehr fair, mir Platz zu lassen. So habe ich die Führung übernommen und konnte nun pushen, da die Reifen relativ kühl waren. Ich fuhr auf Anhieb die schnellste Runde, aber in der Runde danach machte ich ein paar kleine Fehler, indem ich zu hart puschte. In der 35. Runde fuhr ich dann die schnellste Runde des Rennens, und Sanjin ging in der Spoon Curve weit raus. Dann hatte ich einen komfortablen Vorsprung und konnte das Auto ins Ziel bringen.
Ich bin sehr glücklich über den Sieg, aber ich fühlte mit Sanjin mit. Er hat es wirklich gut geschafft, mich über weite Strecken des Rennens hinter sich zu halten.
Tolles Rennen, Sanjin, und ein wohlverdienter P2. Danke für ein hervorragendes Rennen! Gratulation auch an Willi für P3 mit sehr schnellen Rundenzeiten. Glückwunsch an Claudio und Ferdi zu ihren Top 5-Platzierungen. Herzliches Beileid für die Ausfälle.

I did not do any laps here since last week and used the same setup, as it was working well.
In quali I had a great fight for with Sanjin, when we exchanged the Pole time. I set a PB and I was satisfied.
Start was solid, but Sanjin's was better, and he was agressive taking the lead, going a bit wide. I tried to cross over taking the lead back, but he had me covered. First laps Sanjin was pushing like hell and already had a big 2s lead after 3 laps. Arguably he overheated his tires, because in the laps after that I could reel him in. In general I felt I had more pace, but I could not make a move. Sanjin had good exits on the straights, and pulled a little gap. But I think I was stronger in the first curve, especially between 1 and 2. And also at Degner 1 I had more speed, because I did use the inside kerb there. Also at the hairpin I was strong, particularly in the later braking phase. And I was able to take the Casio Triangle quite clean. But again, Sanjin had better exits in general.
He did not make mistakes, sometimes little ones, but never enough to get alongside. Ofcourse I also made some little mistakes, but by follwing him I could control the tires quite well. We always stayed close, and a few times I almost ran into his back, when he went sideways or missed the entry at the Casio Triangle. But he always was fair and tried to make that chicane. Then later in the race we lapped Ferdi, who was aware, thanks. It was a difficult spot to pass, between Degner 1 and 2, but we all did well. Thanks Ferdi for allowing me to pass also.
Then with about 8 laps to go Sanjin missed the Casio Triangle, and he was very fair to leave me room. This way I took the lead, and now I could push, as the tires were relatively cool. I set immediatly the fastest lap, but the lap after made some little mistakes, pushing too hard. Then on Lap 35 I set the fastest lap of the race, and Sanjin went wide and off at Spoon Curve. Then I had a comfortable lead and could bring the car to the finish.
Very happy with the win, but I felt for Sanjin. He did really well to keep me behind for most part of the race.
Great race Sanjin, and a well deserved P2. Thanks for an excellent race! Also grats to Willi for P3 with very fast laptimes. Well done Claudio and Ferdi for your top 5 finishes. Commiseration to the retirements.
Meine Glückwünsche an die drei Aliens auf dem Podium – Weltklasse! Ich hatte leider wieder Motorschaden. Bis dahin war ich mit meinem Rennen zufrieden. Im Training konnte ich mit meinem neuen Rennsimulator sogar erstmals eine pB verbessern – das lässt hoffen …

Nebenbei bemerkt bin ich mir bewusst, dass ich durch meinen runden Fahrstil mehr Strecke mache, aber dadurch kann ich den Schwung aufrechterhalten und die Reifen besser kontrollieren, in Kombination mit meinem ruhigen Fahrstil.
Aber manchmal verpasse ich dadurch auch den Scheitelpunkt, weil ich später einlenke. Außerdem lasse ich dadurch die Tür ein wenig offen.
Kurzum, ich lerne auch viel von euch, und ich muss mich anpassen und meine Herangehensweise für bestimmte Kurven ändern.

On a sidenote, I am aware due to my round driving style I make more distance, but it allows me to keep the momentum up, and it allows me to control the tires better, combined with my smooth driving style.
But sometimes it also causes me to miss the apex, with that later turn in. Also I leave the door kind of open due to this.
In short, I also learn a lot from you guys, and I need to be adaptable, and change my approach for certain corners.

Lass mal, noch schneller musst Du nicht werden...
Ich habe Angst, wenn ich langsamer werde, verliere ich das Interesse...
Deshalb sind Leute wie Claudio und du auch Vorbilder für mich, wie man mit dem Älterwerden oder mit gesundheitlichen Problemen umgeht. Ich bin gesegnet und dankbar, dass ich immer noch auftreten kann.
In quali i had i lap 2 11 800 ideal lap. But i run out of that speed at the end. So lots of place to do better time but i didnt. I didnt care. It was ok.
Sorry for to aggressive pas on start Robert. I even loose car completely. But it was for intresting race. I don want to drive alone far away behind. As in Zolder.
I was under big pressure whole race. Sound of engine from cooper was hurting me. Then in one moment Robert let me go a bit.
Robert must use new tactics called " sleeping your opponent " as in that moment Robert was whole second faster but let me some air. And i needed it.
Race was hard on me. I made that mistake and i was to tired to fight. Managing to end. Even looking if Mario will pass me.
Wd guys. Hard race. Fun race. As Robert says lots to learn.
And my stille was completely diffrent. Dirty, not even. Diffrent line every lap and so.
Tight in tight out. So Robert must go around me. And early on power. Even to early. Didnt bother entering turn or brake late. Not my case. But i did that in chicane.
I use 30/45 1 or 2 to have lots of lock on rear wheels on exiting and i had that little push entering corners so i dont spun to easy.
I had to hot tires on full load and to less heat on empty car.
I am allways in problem whit pressure and heat. I hate that. But we all do.

Not really, I also made some little mistakes and was distracted once, it wasn't on purpose. But again, because you dictated the pace I could keep the tires in the window, and I could push a bit more when needed. To close the gap, and after you made that mistake in the chicane.
I prefer to have a close race, rather than have a runaway win. I do not have to win always, but ofcourse I do try to win. And it's very hard to make a clean pass in the Cooper, when the car in front has the preferred racing line, and good exits.
