Der Race-Report wird mit "GPL Replay Analyzer" erstellt, das Programm versteht nur die 67er Autos. Wenn Du hier mit Matra unterwegs bist, wird im Report Honda angezeigt, bei McLaren wird Eagle angezeigt usw.
Sorry für meinen Fahrstil beim Trainingsrennen in Zeltweg.
Zeltweg gehört zu meinen Hass-Strecken. Ein vernünftiges fahrbares Setup habe ich auch nicht. Vorher trainiert auch nicht. Einen schlechten Tag obendrein. Alles in allem = [sick][death].
Wie schon im Chat nach dem Trainingsrennen angekündigt, werde ich am Donnerstag zum Rennen nicht antreten. Da ich bisher in der Jahrestabelle ein Streichergebnis auf einem mühsam erworbenen Punkt habe, schadet es auch nix für meine Wertung und ihr bleibt beim Rennen von mir verschont.
Zu den restlichen beiden Rennen in Reims und auf dem Ring werde ich versuchen besser drauf zu sein.
Zeltweg mit dem Lotus ist halt nicht einfach. Der Lotus ist zwar das schnellste Fahrzeug in Zeltweg, aber auch das am heikelsten zu fahren..... Gib nicht auf, es hat jeder mal einen schlechten Tag, ( bei mir war es in Spa, dachte nach dem Rennen an nie mehr GPL zu fahren ), der Gedanke hat aber nicht lange angedauert Mach dir ein gutmütiges Setup und die Zeiten kommen dann von alleine. Das Zeltweg eine deiner Hass-Strecken ist, macht das ja erst recht zu einer Herausforderung am Donnerstag anzutreten...Du hast ja noch Zeit um ein paar Runden zu üben
Vielen Dank für die Tipps und die aufmunternden Worte. Leider nutzt es nix mehr. Die Entscheidung ist gefallen.
Ein gutmütiges Setup habe ich (glaube ich jedenfalls, da ich nur eigene schwammige Setups fahre). Lotus fahre ich aus "prinzipiellen Gründen" die nichts mit schnell oder langsam zu tun haben. Die Abneigung gegen Zeltweg beruht auf dem "bescheidenen Aussehen", der mangelhaften Programmierung der Straßenoberflächen (Brüche" und "Spurrillen" und vor allen auf den am Straßenrand verbauten "Höckern" (Curbs). Der letzte Punkt mag auch dafür verantwortlich sein, daß der Kurs nur mit heftigen FPS-Einbrüchen in den kritischen Stellen zu fahren ist. Eine Möglichkeit wäre von draußen (F10) zu fahren, aber daß habe ich im Trainingsrennen schon mit einigem Mißerfolg versucht. Nach hinten bin ich vollständig blind. Pribluda läuft nicht auf meinem System. Auf den Lärm der sich nähernden Autos zu hören reicht bei den Geschwindigkeitsunterschieden auf diesem Kurs nicht aus um niemanden zu behindern oder gar zu gefährden. Außerdem habe ich ständig den "alten" Osring im Kopf. Das macht es sehr schwierig ohne entsprechendes langes Training die Zeltweg-Variante ohne ständige Fahrfehler zu befahren.
All daß führt dazu, das ich mich eher als "rollende Schikane/Bombe" empfinde, und meine Entscheidung getroffen habe.
Leider muß ich hier auch noch beichten, daß ich am Renntermin 22.11.2007 am Start einer kleinen Thundercars-Liga antreten werde. Also eine Terminüberschneidung vorliegt die "harte aber klare" Entscheidungen verlangt. Den Verlust von eh nicht zu erreichenden Punkten in Zeltweg kann ich leicht in der Jahreswertung verschmerzen. Siehe Tabelle.
Wenn ich alle Aspekte abwäge, tut es mir für euch leid, aber die Thundercars reizen mich im Auftaktrennen am 22.11.2007 (Spa mit 780 PS und Topspeed bei über 360km/h) 100 mal mehr als diese "Gurke" von Zeltweg.
Trotzdem werde ich, wie angekündigt, mit Reims und Nürburgring versuchen die restlichen Strecken noch bei euch mitzufahren.
