Nochmals Gratulation, Albrecht! Du warst heute eine Klasse besser, als der Rest!
Superleistung für so ein langes und schweres Rennen!

Ich hatte eigentlich das ganze Rennen mit Pit "zu tun"! Bei so langen GPs find ich es eh gut, wenn einer vor mir fährt.
So bleibt meine Konzentration eher erhalten.

Heiko habe ich auch oft gesehen!

Schade um Mario, der hätte sicher auch wieder vorne mitgemischt.

Das war eines meiner längsten Rennen bisher; endlich mal wieder durchgekommen. (105 min.)

Stenogramm für den Teilzeit-Spediteur und späteren Reporter:

Extremrennen, Freddy wird wegen Dopings aus der Startaufstellung raus verhaftet, man sah ihn später in einer örtlichen Disco....
Pit gewinnt seinen ersten Start bei Geli....muss von der Kupplung abgerutscht sein....
Mario schießt 16 unkaputtbare Zylinder in den Salzburger Nachthimmel....
Heiko trödelt als Wanderdüne um den Kurs und wird mehrmals überrundet....
Mike und Pit sind fast das ganze Rennen unzertrennlich....
....und Albrecht fährt alle gnadenlos in Grund und Boden, Gerüchten nach soll die A-Probe positiv sein....

Tja, was soll ich sagen, irgendwie lief das gestern abend alles anders als sonst, - in der Quali nur mit vollem Tank trainiert, am Start Heiko vorbeigelassen, reifenschonend in die Semperitkurve reingebremst und ohne Hetze die anderen vor mir in den Sandkasten fahren lassen.
Meinem Lotus hab ich gesagt, heute fahren wir mal Cooper und der hats mir mit ruhigem Fahrverhalten gedankt.

Als Willis BRM explodierte, war ich auf einmal ganz vorne, ohne auch nur einen richtig überholt zu haben. Da lagen noch 70 lange Runden vor mir und ich hatte kein Verlangen, mich in unnötige Zweikämpfe zu verstricken. Also nichts wie weg! Die Bahn ist frei, war meine Devise. Der Vorsprung vergrößerte sich zu meiner Überraschung von Runde zu Runde, nur am Ende als sich kleine Konzentrationsschwächen einschlichen bin ich dann etwas vorsichtiger geworden. Wenn ich Heiko nicht ab und zu mal gesehen hätte, hätte ich gedacht, ich fahr ganz alleine. Aber wie gesagt, das war mir gestern ganz recht so.

Schade, dass Freddy und Willi vorzeitig aussteigen mussten. Heiko hatte nach seinem offroad-intermezzo offensichtlich Probleme mit seinem Honda gehabt. Der Schadensreport schweigt sich dazu aber aus. Bei den Überrundungen hat er immer fair Platz gelassen.
Nach den vielen Pleiten, Pechsträhnen und selbstverschuldeten Pannen, war das mein erster Sieg bei der Geli. Auch ansonsten wars für mich ein Rennen der Superlative: Noch nie so viele fehlerlose Runden am Stück gefahren und dabei wahrscheinlich mehr Führungsrunden gehabt als in meiner ganzen GPL-Karriere überhaupt. Danke für das schöne Rennen, es hat mich richtig aufgebaut!

Moin zusammen...

Grats Albrecht, dem Podium und den Ankommern( also mir ).

Zum Schadensbericht:
Hatte gestern viele Dreher aber der Wagen blieb heile.
Ich war das Problem... ich wär fast eingeschlafen beim fahren, deshalb bin ich so langsam gewesen.
Hätt mich vor dem Marathon mal ne Stunde hinlegen sollen.
Da ich sowieso letzter war, wollte ich garkein Risiko eingehen... war trotzdem oft knapp gestern.
Bin immer richtig hochgeschreckt, wenn einer zum Überrunden vorbei kam.
noch was lustiges: Fenster offen, Licht an und der Mückenvernichter unerreichbar vom Lenkrad aus...die letzten 20R waren die Hölle.

Noch was anderes:
Hab mich gestern auch so über mich geärgert, das ich nich lesen kann
Da quäle ich mich mit dem Honda und erfahre dann das der Wagen egal is .
Ich stelle hiermit den Honda zum Trainings -und Freizeitgerät ab.
Die GP-Rangliste hat für mich seinen Wert verloren... ab heute gehts ums Treppchen.
Ich blicke trotzdem auf ein gute Zeit und Statistik im Honda zurück
(kein einziger Motorschaden im Rennen z.b.)

So ich geh schonmal ein zwei Wagen waschen und üben.

Jepp, hier wär jedes andere Auto besser gewesen, Salzburg ist einfach zu kurvig, um mit dem Honda gut um die Runden zu kommen. Ich bin diesmal auf den Lotus umgestiegen, weil mir der Brabham im Testrennen etwas zu langsam war. Ich wechsle oft das Auto, je nach dem, was für die Strecke gerade am besten passt. Wenn ich Probleme mit der Strecke hab, dann steig ich in den Cooper, fühl ich mich sicher, dann bevorzuge ich den Lotus. Den Honda nehm ich nie, schon deshalb, weil er die höchste Ausfallquote hat.
