I followed Sanjin, saw a yellow flag and was thinking, not to make the same mistake as the one infront of me. . . . And thats not the 1e time I think about a yellow flag and crash out of a race. Concentrate , concentrate, .
At the start Albrecht and I ride side by side and hit each other in the first corner. Fortunately, we can both continue. Sorry Albrecht I haven't seen you, and you haven't seen me I think.
A few laps later, Uwe lost his Ferrari in de dip and crashes at high speed into my rear. End of story.
Not a favorite track of my. Too many slow (off camber) corners, although I do love the last sector and 1e turn.
The start was difficult because of the accident between Mario and Claudio in front of me. That made me anxious to be hit from behind and run off the track. Lost some positions but that made the race only better.
@ Claudio: When I caught up with Pedro he came out of turn 3 very slowly and didn't accelerate. I tried to swerve, but we touched each other. Sry!
That was my fault, sorry for that! I tryed to let you pass easely but misjudged your speed, Sorry!!
@ Robert: But with about 10 laps . . . I can take it easy, and make sure to bring the car home.
I was driving and pushing like crazy for not being lapped. Respect for your race speed Robert (and Tim and all you alians)
Happy to made it to the finish and set a PB.
Thanks racers and admins for this race, cu next time.
Learned another lesson today. Before you start racing you should check the equipment. In qualifying my brake pedal turned out not to work properly. Bumped into the edges 3 times and came to a stop after 8 turns, end of quali :(
The start of the race was not great either. At the "Jugend Kurve" I was too careful and slipped against the hay bales. Fabian waited a while to see if I got loose, thanks for that teamy!
The rest of the race was great. I was catching up to Hans and Ferdi till they suddenly disappeared. Sorry for you guys!
In the penultimate round, Fabian is stuck in the hay. I was not sure if I should untie you buddy, but I didn't dare.
Very happy (and lucky) with 3e place. Thanks for the race, CU next time.
Great Respect for the front runners! What incredible speeds you dare to drive here. Congratulations Mario and Lasse, and well done Sanjin!
Sorry for all the DNFers.
I intended (again) to take it easy, and try to finish the race. Last week I missed the training because I was waiting for the server in IGOR. When I figured out what was going on, I was already too late During my offline training, I crashed again and again trying to speed up.
Halfway through the race I made a mistake in the hairpin and lost a lot of time to get going again. Luckely I had enough head start on Sinjijn to be able to keep driving my laps. Very happy with 3e place.
Claurio, your record time of 322xx is still showing in my GPL, sorry to hear how your race start/ended. Especially after the good training last week and the bad luck the week before.
Thank you to for racing! It is a pleasure, demanding and very educational to drive with you. Thanks for hosting and organizing.
At the start I am stuck behind Michael and to avoid accidents I stay on my line. Fabian and Ferdi pass me by, doesn't matter, the race is still long.
After the "start accident" where Tim kicked Mario and Claudio's Cooper off the track, yellow flags are waved. Caution is advised and overtaking is prohibited, dangerous and unsportsmanlike. Everyone drives on carefully and keeps their position, except Rainer who overtakes a total of seven cars
I am now following Claudio, and can easily follow from a distance. When Ferdi slides off it is Rainer Claudio Pedro Mario.
Starting lap three, Claudio passes Rainer at the kink after start/finish, he is clearly the faster. Rainer can follow in the tow and makes tries to attack back. This keeps Claudio on the outside of the track and he slides off.
Zitat von Claudio Callipo im Beitrag #4 Beim zurückkommen wollte Pedro gleichzeitig Rainer überholen und drückt mich in die Leitplanke.
Rainer is now right in front of me and drives so slowly that I have to pass him. Just then Claudio comes off the grass and hits my left rear wheel, race over for Claudio and me.
I'm very sorry that we had to laeve the race like this Claudio! I'm still sour about it now.
Robert, Lasse and Mario congratulations on your podium.
Sad to see Lasse lost a wheel in the accident in turn 1. I was lucky and could continue in 4th place. A few laps later the race order was restored and only my team mate Fabian was still behind me.
Nice Tim, that you kept me company after your mistakes. With some pleasure I have to say, I enjoyed it to not making it too easy for you to overtake. What struck me was your mature and controlled way of driving. Very nice to experience, thank you.
Due to the heat and loss of concentration I get problems with braking and ended up in the grass. Fabian was suddenly close by. Another mistake and Fabian was in front of me. And worse, he's running off !! Well done Fabian you were the fastest of us two.
The problems with the FPS drop that I had last week were luckily under control now.
Thanks for organizing and racing guys. I'll see you next time.
It was not drivable for me yesterday. I am having heavy framerate drops all over the place. Look in to it this week, hoop things get better with other updates.
Zitat von Claudio Callipo im Beitrag #14 To have a good balance and exciting races we always choose the cars according to the speed of the drivers. And we drive the car the whole season.
Okay I get it, thanks for explaining.
I was looking at "Auto Wahl 2020 - Car choice 2020" in the forum and see some teams have cars vacant What car would you recommend for me: Brabham, Ferrari or Cooper?
Congratulations Lasse and Robert for the podium and all who finished the race Feel sorry for the drivers who were involved in the starting accident, what a pity!
I made a good start and the Eagle could outpass Lasse's Honda. Slowly I pulled away from him and that was it. After 10 laps I changed to 5e (over)gear to lower the engine temperature and made it to the finish. To finish first here has nothing to do with being a good driver but more about having the right car. Great respect for you guys!
Thanks to the drivers for easy passing while being lapped.
I have just reread the rules again. During qualifying I stopped at the track and made a Esc+Enter and left the pits later on. I understand now that this is not allowed, I apologize for that and it will not happen again!
Thanks for the pleasant evening :)
And thanks Claudio for explaining the point system.
