Falls mal einer von euch Probleme mit der TM-Hardware hat:

Thrustmaster bietet auch technischen Support jenseits der Garantie an. Den habe ich jetzt mal für mein T300 (das nach knapp 4 Jahren die Grätsche gemacht hat) in Anspruch genommen. Die Prozedur läuft dann folgendermassen:

- die nehmen eine Vorauszahlung von €120.-
- wenn Reparatur erfolgreich, kommt es mit 3 Monaten Garantie zurück.
- wenn es nicht repariert werden kann, werden €30.- für Inspektion und Rückversand berechnet und der Rest erstattet. Oder auf Wunsch vor Ort entsorgt.
- Paketversand per DHL von D nach F €18.-



Und weil ich zu faul bin, einen eigenen Thread aufzumachen, hier noch ein paar Worte zum ersatzweise angeschafften T 248.

Die Pedale sind auf jeden Fall gut und bleiben auch hier. Reviews zu dem Ding gibt es auf Youtube genug. Die lauten Shifter, über die sich da einige beschweren, finde ich nicht so schlimm. Ja, lauter als andere. Aber auch nicht so, das im Nebenraum einer vom Stuhl fällt. Was mir weniger gut gefällt, ist die Konstruktion des Lenkrades. Aussen Kunstleder, innen Plastik. Fasst sich nicht so schön an. Ist aber auf keinen Fall kein schlechtes Wheel. Für den ermässigten Preis ist es gut, den Originaltarif finde ich etwas zu hoch angesetzt.Das T300 ist aber auf jeden Fall besser. Also hoffe ich mal, das es reparabel ist, dann kann das 248 als Reserve im Schrank wohnen.

And because I'm too lazy to start a separate thread, here are a few words about the T 248 I bought as a replacement.

The pedals are definitely good and will stay here. There are plenty of reviews of the thing on YouTube. I don't find the loud shifters that some complain about that bad. Yes, louder than others. But not so loud that someone in the next room falls off their chair. What I don't like so much is the construction of the steering wheel. Leatherette on the outside, plastic on the inside. Not so nice to touch. For the cheaper pricer I paid it's great, original price is too high imo. But it's not a bad wheel by any means. But the T300 is definitely better. So I hope it's repairable, then the 248 can live in the cupboard as a spare.

if money is problem and good wheel is needed i will try to find wheel on ebay

Few days ago i find some Logitech g25 or even better g27 in great condition. but dont buy if is worn.

people buy it to kids or to self and they dont drive 2 h in total and put them on side for 2 3 years. and that is good equipment.

I buy new g25 , after 1 year gears start to mess. i send it back ang gor again brand new but better revision. 1.00 i got 1.01 or something. and it works still.

i had some problems. i lost FF and fix it at MOBO ,laptop repair shop.

Mein G25-Rad ist letzte Woche gebrochen. Es brauchte ein bestimmtes Teil, aber ich beschloss, ein neues G29 zu kaufen. Das G25 war abgenutzt, FF und hatte Spiel im Lenkrad. Ich dachte, es war im Begriff, sowieso zu sterben. Außerdem funktionierten die Tasten nicht mehr. Die Pedale waren auch nicht 100% genau, aber ich werde sie wieder reinigen und als Backup aufheben.

Hatte schon 2 Rennen, und beide habe ich gewonnen. Ich habe mich angepasst, etwa das gleiche Gefühl wie mit dem G25, etwas anders, und mehr Funktionalität jetzt. Glücklich mit dem Kauf, kaufte es in einem lokalen Geschäft für 192 €, ziemlich billig denke ich.
