Danke, Leute!

Thanks guys! Especially my second season half was very good so far, despite weaker races at Phillip Island and Monthlery. Very grateful to be able to race with you guys still, at the front.

It probably was my last competitive season. I am getting more medication and will have to get surgery on my left arm during next year. Rather sooner than later. Hemo-dialysis is getting nearer. I am on the transplant list since half a year, but that can take years. Also the corona situation does not work in my favor.

I will continue racing as long I have fun, but I cannot deny it's getting harder...

Thanks guys. I do realize we all have different struggles and problems in life, that also might affect your racing. Be sure this is not asking attention or recognition. I just wanted to share this so you guys know what's going on, if and when I lose interest/motivation, or have to miss races or even quit due to my health situation.

As long as I race, I am committed at 100%, and do not want to be treated differently on track ofcourse. You guys should race me as hard as always. I hope I can continue racing in the future, and keep enjoying it.

Danke, Leute.

Hi Robert, I can understand you very well. I sometimes have big problems with my eyes myself, since my operation. I don't want any favouritism either and I should be treated like everyone else.
If you are in front of me or behind me, I want to beat you as much as anyone else, even if it doesn't work most of the time.
I hope you can ride with us for a very long time!

Mit sportlichem Gruss
Claudio

Thanks for that Claudio Indeed I was thinking and comparing with your problems in the first place, as you mentioned your eye problems before. In a way you are an example for me, to enjoy the racing despite physical problems affecting it. Thanks again!

No problem Robert!
I can go blind at any time and I try not to think about it because I have no control over it.
We only live once and if we want to have fun, let's have fun.
Too often in life we say we want to do things later, but then it may be too late.
Willi has shown us again how quickly things happen.
Let's enjoy our lives and take everything we can get.

Mit sportlichem Gruss
Claudio
