By the way. If you have more then 1 graphics card it's quite possible that GPL gets handled by your "base" graphics card and not by your advanced one (e.g. laptops). Hence it's slow because of 3D stuff.
Force GPL to be executed by your advanced card (e.g. right-click on icon and select "Run with graphics processor..." or something like that). [Hint: Do this on GEM+ but after that also directly on "gplc67.exe" for comparison] gl
