Ran another PB in quali, but Claudio was too strong. Front row was good though. Start was good as well, but the Ferrari outdragged me and Claudio took the lead. Gradually he increased the gap to 4s midrace to me. The gap to Lasse behind grew also gradually. Basically I did pace myself first half of the race, also because of the tires, but when the fuel burnt off the balance changes a bit and you can push a bit more on the fronts. Anyhow closed the gap late race to Claudio. Pushed hard, but there was no way past, as Claudio outaccelerated me on the straight each time. At the infield I could get to his bumper though.
I tried my best but had to settle for second in the end. I did enjoy that race though. Claudio did well under the pressure making no mistakes. Congrats Claudio, back to back wins! Also well done Lasse for podium, and Rainer and finishers. Commiserations to Hans for his early DNF.
Was für ein Rennen! Danke Ferdi! Ich war so Konzentriert dass ich überhaupt nicht mitbekommen habe was um mich herum passiert. Am Ende total verschwitzt, aber glücklich!
Thanks also to you Robert! The quality was amazing. When I saw your time I knew that I had to improve my PB to stand in front. I was completely surprised when suddenly a 1:15 was there. When I won the start, I tried to get out of the gap. But it only lasted until the 4 sec. After the first rounding I saw the distance getting smaller. Could not do anything about it. But your push has always kept my concentration high. I have no idea how I could not make mistakes. I knew overtaking was very difficult here and tried to save myself to the finish. What succeeded with a 0.2 sec. Lead! Rarely fought as here. Puuuh

I kind of had the strange idea to be in a position that justifies to put a bit of pressure onto Kelvin. Then, all of a sudden, the car was a bit deformed in a way that wouldn't allow me to steer proper right turns. Still no clue what could've been the reason...
Tolles Rennen! ...auch wenn ich am Ende mächtig Federn gelassen habe.
Zum Start hatte ich eines meiner besten Bremsmanöver und konnte Kelvin in T1 überholen. Zum Ende hatte ich dann ein eher mittelmäßiges Bremsmanöver in T1 und Kelvin zog vorbei. Fabian konnte später auch noch vorbei, weil ich nochmal ausrutschte... ...und in der letzten Runde habe ich dann auch wieder verstanden, wie man in Keimola wirklich schnell fährt

Ich war etwas enttäuscht. Hatte im Trainingsrennen noch gute Pace mit Luft nach oben. Während des Quali habe ich das Setup wohl ein wenig kaputtverbessert. Tight in the middle - loose out. Irgendwie schade aber immerhin doch mein primäres Ziel 'Top 6' erreicht...
Einmal habe ich mir "einen Vettel" erlaubt und bin nach einem Ausritt "gefährlich" auf die Strecke zurück. Ich glaube, ich habe erstens gedacht, dass der Wagen hinter mir noch etwas weiter weg wäre und zweitens habe ich naiv damit gerechnet, dass der Wagen mir Vorfahrt gewährt. Entschuldigung...
