Liebe Leute, wer kann das Training hosten? Ich stecke mitten in den Urlaubsvorbereitungen und werde morgen sehr früh zu Bett gehen. Also wenn ich nicht "muß", würde ich dieses Training nicht hosten.
Das Rennen verpasse ich auch... zum Targa-Training bin ich wieder am Start.

Wow, was ein Rennen! Das war kein Training, das war absolut am Limit gefahren. Irre wie Robert mich gejagt hat und Hammer, was Kelvin aus dem Wagen rausgeholt hat.
Beide immer knapp hinter mir und ich hab keine Ahnung wie ich es geschaft habe, ohne Fehler trotzdem vorne zu bleiben. Robert konnte sich einmal im Windschatten ransaugen, war aber eventuell überrascht wie spät ich gebremst habe. Er versuchte natürlich noch später zu bremsen, das war aber zu viel und er rauschte innen an mir vorbei in den Sand. Bei kelvin schaffte ich es jedesmal vor der Geraden so weit vorne zu sein, das der windschatten nicht greifen konnte.
Was mich bei beiden verblüffte, war wie rasend schnell sie in den letzten beiden Kurven vor Start Ziel aufholen konnten! Dort verliere ich massiv an Boden.
Das wird ja was am Renntag.

Schade, wollte auch unbedingt dabeisein, wurde aber anderweitig gebraucht... ;-)
Der Brabham müsste hier gut sein, jedenfalls bin ich in Zandvoort eher schneller damit als mit dem Ferrari, aber ich konnte die Strecke noch nie - vielleicht wäre was zu Lernen gewesen.
Ich hoffe es gibt noch ein Replay von einem von euch, wo Ferdi doch diesmal nicht konnte. Ich würde mich darüber freuen!
Great race, despite a small grid this race had all in it! Ofcourse this is my hometrack, and also one of my favorite tracks.
Did set a PB in practise, again with a little mistake in the last corner. But 24s with the BRM are pretty hard to achieve, so I'm happy with that lap. Already during practise was thinking to DQ, or to start out of pitlane. Just to be in the mix, not to disrespect the opposition ofcourse. Decided after the first lap to let the field by, to try to have some fun and close racing.
There was a BRM train behind Tim, but passing eachother is always hard here. Towards Tarzan is the only safe option really, and then you have to have more straightline speed or a good tow. At some point Willi and Kelvin touched, and I could pass Willi a few laps later. Tim made a mistake after following him for a few laps, and then set sail towards Claudio. That said, Kelvin matched or bettered my pace and ran a great recovery. About midrace I had a good run on Claudio towards Tarzanbocht but either Claudio went out of shape under braking, or there was a little warp, but I did react to that making evasive action: that's why I locked up and missed the corner. Haven't seen the server replay yet tho, only client replay.
I was very relieved Claudio could make it through though, he recognized the situation. Also Kelvin got passed as I was in the sand/grass. Then pushed like crazy, and still hardly catched Kelvin and Claudio. Kelvin ran a superb race with a damaged car. Very impressed by his pace and ability. Even so, catched up and could pass after a little mistake out of of the last corner by Kelvin. Then catched up with Claudio, but ran out of laps to make another move.
Really enjoyed that race, was a lot of fun and hard racing! Even so, I need to improve on my consistency in the last corner. Often I can take a lot of speed into Panorama with my line, but then get a tight approach to the last corner.

Ich hatte am Ende noch ein Schreckmoment. Ich dachte es ist noch eine Runde zu fahren und legte alles in diese Runde um vorne zu bleiben.
Als ich auf die Zielgerade kam suchte ich nach dem Flaggenmann, doch der war nicht da!! Oh Gott, es gibt noch eine Runde! Also schnell die konzentration wieder hochfahren und noch eine Runde. zum Glück ging es gut und ich machte keine Fehler. Puuhhhh

Beim Link von Ferdi fragt er mich zusätzlich nach einem Usernamen, aber der naheliegende wars offensichtlich nicht, oder großklein anders, oder anderes PW.

Zandvoord is my nemesis, it forgives nothing. A fast track with a great feeling, but the most difficult I know. Sorry for defeating my position and holding you all up, but I thought it´s trainingtime and I´ll learn to handle when its pressuring from the back.. and as you all could see I couldn´t resist that long and where in the green soon. Afterwards I had a few nice laps timeduelling with Mario but again I couldn´t keep it on track. So, maybe next time.
