In quali did set the same time like last week, and again it was good enough for Pole. After the start braked too late for T1, and almost went off. Early race I did overdrive and push too much, overheating my front tires. Also locked up the brakes a few times into T1, adding to the problem. Chris was gaining on me early race, but then he made a mistake and the gap was suddenly 2-3s. After that tried to drive smoother and taking care of the tires, but the balance was too much to the understeer side for my liking. Chris gaining again on me also made me push harder again. Somehow the car was more tight than last week, only had a slightly taller 3rd gear. However the balance is a fine line and late race the car got back to me. Did set a few fast laps and then tried to bring it safely to the finish the last 3 laps. I am notoriously hard on the gearbox and engine, gearings on the edge here, so I got really lucky.
Quite happy with my first win here, despite the stats it was incredibly hard, and a win in the BRM is always special!
Thanks and great job Chris for pushing me whole race. I knew from the Ringnacht you're a very good driver. Also a great job by Willi with improved and basically equal pace! Well done finishers, bad luck DNF's. Shame Hans couldn't battle it out at the front after his performance last week.

Das war kein rausfallen, das war Überforderung plus Dummheit auf ganzer Linie, das versuche ich auch garnicht schönzureden. Das wäre mir auch nicht halb so peinlich, wenn ich damit nicht auch noch Lasse sein Rennen versaut hätte.
Lasse, eine Riesenentschuldigung an dich!!! Nicht mit vollem Tank geübt, auf kalten Reifen unterwegs, Fahrfehler und halb am rotieren weil von Aliens umgeben und dann auch noch nicht zurückstecken wollen: alles zu 100% auf meinem Deckel, da gibt's keine Diskussion.
