Ich bin mega happy mit dem kleinen auf dem Podest zu stehen! P2 war das maximum, das wusst ich schon vorher. War aber lustig wenigstens ein paar Runden in Führung zu sein, wegen dem kleinen Fehler von Willi.
Grats allen Ankommern.

I fell asleep and woke up ca 20:57 so standing at the start I was still halfway in lala land. Went off ca 147 times and a wonder the car held together at all. So all in all a fantastic start to a new season. Grats podium and Willi. Strong drive and serious pace as usual. C u guys next friday.
Dag, could you please adjust your shifting times (manually, if you know how to, or use a tool like Fairshift ) so that we all can compete on equal terms? Appreciated. cu
EDIT: 0.222s would be default but 0.216s is common too
Not sure what you mean Fabian. I changed to a stickshift controller from Act labs before christmas and it has a better exchange , or a more balanced exchange then the paddles but it hardly feels like an advantage.
This is what Im using now. If it has different values of sorts or other stuff that would constitute an advantage then please elaborate cause Im not familiar with such technicalities. The difference how I experience it is as I say a more balanced signal for the throttle wich makes the ride smoother. But I still have to lift when shifting and on top of that I have to move an arm off the wheel to shift wich means a change in driving style and more mistakes. I also have to brake earlier now then I used to. So as I say , it doesnt feel like any type of advantage and Im in general slower now then say 2 months ago.

Zitat von Dag_J im Beitrag #12do you drive paddles or stick?
Paddles. But I don't know how that's relevant except that I don't use Fairshift (though I even have it installed) and hence can only offer little support about it.
Its relevant in lots of different ways. To isolate a slight margin of approx 100 ms pr upshift into an actual advantage seems a little difficult to quantify in actual time gained on track. I have to push a stick approx 20 cm for each gear shift ,now I dont have a time device that can capture any loss/gain in ms compared to tapping a paddle you have at your fingertips at all times and frankly I find it kinda absurd to be looking for time margins like that. This is also an commercially available product for anyone who wants one , its not like I developed my own controller that somehow exploits a hitherto unknown loophole in gpl for my own benefit in my secret lab. Yes it comes with an gearbox upgrade , its supposed to. But it doesnt make driving these cars any easier , quite the contrary. But it makes it more authentic and it enhances the gpl experience to a whole new level the way I experience it.Im Sure others who have the same controller would agree with me. And since its not a part of the regulations I will enjoy my 100 ms to the full. C u on track champ!
