Für die nicht-TSler: die ersten beiden restarts gehen auf meine Kappe, weil ich wohl doch zu blöd bin, das mit der track.ini richtig zu machen, was zu den schlechten Starts geführt hat. Ein verhaltenes und beschämtes "sorry"!

Ein Wahnsinns Rennen- auch mit den 3 Starts. Und dann Lasse immer am Popo klebend... Ganz Nebenbei war das im letzten Rennen mein erster Saisonsieg in einem GP.
krasse Szenen & Ausfälle. Albrecht in Axel; Uli in Gregory; Kelvin per Sprunghügel in den Baum; Pelle an Chris vorbeiquetschend; Chris kämpft verzweifelt ohne Vorderräder [erinnert mich an den schwarzen Ritter bei "Ritter der Kokosnüsse" ;) ]; Pit mit einem perfiden "Linksdreher"; Claudio "kurz vor Schluss" bereits schlaftrunken das Abbremsen verpennt; usw usw. (ich glaube sämtliche Ausfälle habe ich schon mindestens 1 mal selber erfahren... )
aber lieber hätte ich ja mal die Replays von den 2 "Probestarts" gesichtet.
ich hatte den Ring nicht mehr richtig im Griff. Sehr viele Unfälle. Alleine schon T1 drei mal reingedonnert bis ich wieder etwa wusste, wo man bremsen muss. So war der Brabham ziemlich schnell, ziemlich stark zerdeppert. In der 5. Runde hatte ich einen heftigen Unfall. Habe nicht gemerkt, dass ich in den Neutralen statt den 1. Gang heruntergeschaltet hatte und beim Anfahren erst mal den Motor etwas hochgedreht, was dann 2 Runden später wohl zum Platzer geführt hat (obwohl ich mir sehr Mühe gegeben habe, den Motor zu schonen..) Tja. Auf jedenfall gutes Practice für die Lange Ringnacht. Jetzt sollte die Strecke wieder intus sein. Keine Ausflüchte mehr.. *schluck*

Wer sich mit so einer Galavorstellung aus der Saison verabschiedet, hat es absolut verdient. Acht Runden konnte ich dieses Höllentempo ja noch einigermaßen mitgehen , aber dann war bei mir die Luft raus. Zwei kleine Dreher noch produziert... aber Du warst vorher eigentlich schon "weg".
Danke noch an Kelvin, ohne Deine tatkräftige Unterstützung hätte ich den dritten Platz nicht erben können. Mein drittes Bronze, immerhin!
Auch meinen Glückwunsch Mario, den Funliga Titel hättste ja auch gehabt wenn das Tanzen nicht gewesen wäre...
Falls noch Bedarf ist kann ich ja mal meine track.ini posten mit der wir problemlos viele Starts gemacht haben

I would like to apologize for the mess I made at Nurb. 1st of all I can say that my name is Dag and Im 42 yrs old and from Norway , been driving GPL for a few years with some friends here in norway.
My intention was never to actually race at nurb , I was only testing login and so forth so that I would be ready for next season. I had massive "lagging" issues with my graphicscard when i joined and I knew I was breaking the rules in qualifiyng but I had to tweak my graphicsadapter so that gpl would run smoothly. It was close to undrivable to begin with. In hindsight maybe I should have done that at another occassion \ 60fps race and I should have made my intentions clear for which Im very sorry. I realize I must have seemed like the biggest douche with such blatant disregard for rules and regulations and again Im very sorry for that.
The 2nd start was on me , didnt know that u could actually start from the box in GPL and I should have asked , when I realised my mistake I tried to get out of the way but that only made it worse I guess. My most sincere apologies to all!
Im only looking for good clean racing and I love GPL so I hope that u can find it in your heart to forgive my "rookie" mistakes. I should be good to go now in terms of equippment and I humbly ask that I can join in at Le Mans and there i promise I will follow all the rules and hopefully make up for a terrible first impression.

if you need more "practice" I hope you will join us at the EOLC for the annual "The Long Ring Night". 7 Fun-Races x 3 Laps (reset allowed any time) & at the end a GP distance (no reset possible ofc) but you can join/leave as you wish of course.
Die Boxen habe ich rechts kurz vor die Linie auf den Betonstreifen verlegt dadurch wird die inlap nicht immer gewertet aber in pribluda hat man die Zwischenzeiten.

Thank you and yes , trial by fire is an appropriate term to use here , it was all very embarrasing. To top it off I ran off in the 1st corner... haha , great debut!
The game ran like 98% with a couple of small glitches here and there but its only the surroundings so it should be ok to drive. To begin with I was getting carsick because of the lagging... :( Got a new graphicscard recently and the tweaks are different than the old one. But now I should be good to go.
Seems like great fun and a great league and Im really looking forward to next season , this is "the next level" from driving Int long races with my buddies.
