Zeit, Zeit müsste man haben... Nimm das vom Eagle, passt auch ungefähr. Die Gangabstufung und die Federungsraten müssten vielleicht etwas angepasst werden.

Bin grad 1:20.51 gefahren, aber ein paar Runden später ging nicht mehr unter 1:21.30 wegen der Reifentemps...

Ein anderes Setup hilft da auch nicht immer, - wie wärs mit einer anderen Fahrweise

Das jetzige Setup ist mehr für Hotlaps geeignet, da geht es gut. Denke mal daß es vielleicht zu weich gefedert ist und deswegen die Reifen überheizen.

Andere Fahrweise? Dann schleiche ich mit 1:25-1:28 da rum, da lacht sich ja jeder Cooper-Fahrer schlapp über diesen lahmen Lotus

Beim Ferrari wars etwas einfacher für mich, der Lotus ist da Neuland... nur ganz ohne Driften kommt man eben nicht zügig um die Kurven. Verrückt, wie stark sich die Strecken unterscheiden, was auf einer funktioniert versagt auf der Nächsten kläglich.

Bisher waren es die Vorderreifen, die zu heiß wurden. Mit einem 45/60/1 Diff werden sie jetzt gleichmäßiger heiß. Fahrbar ist er damit sehr gut, reagiert schön auf Gas in Kurven und nimmt den Hintern rum. Jetzt mache ich mal die Federung härter und schaue, was passiert.

Da ich die Strecke noch nicht kenne, muß ich mir heute Abend auch noch was basteln. Könnte man ein Setup von einer anderen Strecke verwenden? Wenn ja - welches eignet sich wohl am ehesten?

@jörg: die strecke ist ziemlich flüssig zu fahren und sehr breit. vielleicht ist das watkins glen setup ganz gut. ich hab mir allerdings nur mein standardsetup angepasst, das ich ohnehin auf allen strecken fahre.

p.s.: das problem mit den reifentemperaturen hab ich auch. im rennen hilft wohl wirklich nur eine etwas gemäßigtere fahrweise...

Da hilft wirklich nur Zurückhaltung mit dem Gasfuß... egal was für ein Setup man fährt, die linken Reifen kochen.

Setup von Watkins Glen geht wenn man Gänge und Radstürze etwas anpaßt.

Musste aufgeben, mir wären beinahe die Augenweckgeflackert heute.
Nach dem dummen Unfall in T2 (Sorry Albrecht, dachte nicht dass wir uns dort dann doch noch in die Quere kommen würden) musste ich an die Box.
Nachdem ich wieder draußen war hatte ich einen Bildfehler.
Die Landschaft baute sich immer neben und vor dem Auto auf.

Das nervte und flackerte wie verrückt :(

Schade. Hatte mich auf ein spannendes Rennen gefreut. So ein Käse

grummel...jetzt hab ich endlich wieder Internet und jetzt schalte ich erstmals GPL wieder ein, da hagelt es die erstaunlichsten Grafikfehler.
