Nachdem das Training für mich ja ganz gut und ohne techn. Probleme ablief, hatte ich Sekunden vor Trainingsende einen DISCO. Im VROC angekommen konnte ich nur noch sehen, daß der Server gerade auf "Rennen" umschaltete. Somit musste ich draussen bleiben. Ich hoffe Ihr hattet trotzdem noch viel Spaß. Ich denke, Silverstone ist eine gute Wahl für das Ausweichrennen

Leider bist du nicht der einzige mit Problemen bzw. jetzt habe ich eins.
Nach ein paar Runden(Training oder Rennen) habe ich massiv mit einfrierenden Bildern zu kämpfen.
Offline gibt es keine Probleme ob Training oder Rennen.
Das erste mal ist es aufgetreten als wir die Soli gefahren sind. Seit dem wird das Problem immer schlimmer
Da ich wie Du einen Grafikkartenwechsel hinter mir habe stellt sich mir auch die Frage ob es daran liegen könnte?
Nur habe ich von ATI auf Nvidia gewechselt.

hmmm, ich hatte auch massive Probleme mit Bildstehern und auch wieder Soundprobleme.
Die Balken waren auch ziemlich instabli.

Wohl doch keine Alternative zu Geli oder VR4

Ja, wini, bei mir wars genauso.

Komisches knacksen im Sound (was mich persönlich schon etwas stört) und auch kurze Aussetzer.
Hab ich wie gesagt bei jedem Rennen auf Geli, liegt nicht an der Strecke.

Die Bildsteher hatte ich nur zu Beginn, danach gings.

Das gleiche hatte ich auch. Bei mir lag es eindeutig an der Soundkarte.
Ich hab zwei Soundkarten im Rechner (1x onboard und 1x PCI-gesteckt). Nutze ich bei GPL die gesteckte Soundkarte, dann hab ich Bildruckler und Knackser im Ton (auch wenn die Hardwarebeschleunigung komplett heruntergedreht ist) und die Frames sinken zwischenzeitlich unter 30. Nutze ich den onboard-Sound, dann ist alles in bester Ordnung: kein Ruckeln, kein Knacksen und 36 FPS bei vollen Details.

Ich hatte am alten PC mit der Soundblaster live 5.1 Probleme mit dem Sound bei GPL. Mit dem neuen PC und guten onboardsound wieder. Habs immer mit ner Verringerung der Hardwarebeschleunigung des Sounds in den Griff bekommen. Is zwar igendwie lästig, aber ich hab mich daran gewöhnt, nachdem ich stundenlang mit Treibern... alles versucht hab. Und selbst mit der vielgepriesenen SB Audigy haben einige wenige Probleme.

Aber verglichen mit GTR kann ich gut damit leben

Ich werde dann auch erstmal die Hardwarebeschleunigung ausstellen und dann,
ja dann vielleicht mal über eine neue Soundkarte nachdenken

Ohne Hardwarebeschleunigung habe ich keine Bildruckler mehr nur der Sound hört sich total bescheiden an.
Die Grafik ist dann auch nicht mehr der Hit.
