Klasse Strecke, Jörg. Blue Mountain find ich spaßig und herausfordernd zugleich. Selten beim Training so gelacht. So was von Schräges, Gemeines, Verqueres und Achterbahnmäßiges hab ich in der Kombination noch nicht gesehen.
Um in den extremen Talsenken Aufsetzer zu vermeiden, muss man das Auto schon maximal aufbocken und die Federung auf volle Härte schrauben. Mit weicherer Aufhängung gehts auch, aber dann muss man bei den unvermeidlichen Aufsetzern aufpassen, dass sich das Chassis genau in Fahrtrichtung befindet. Für heutige F1-Fahrzeuge wäre diese Strecke wahrscheinlich nicht fahrbar.

So isses, aber F1-Rennen mit Schaden möchte ich da auch nicht fahren. Wie lange wirds wohl dauern, bis der Motor in dem Knick nach Start und Ziel aus dem Chassis gehämmert ist?

Grats Thomas. Ferdi, du wirst es nun schwer haben mit dem Titelgewinn oder?

Apropos:
Ich habe die F3 mal ausprobiert und muss sagen, dass die mir nicht so wirklich zusagen. Wird es in der nächsten Saison einen 65Mod - Cup geben? Dann bin ich dabei!

Yep, starker Gegner und Naturtalent, der Thomas. Aber Hauptsache jede Menge Spaß, und den haben wir die ersten 16 Runden gehabt gestern (siehe Replay)

Also ich finde die F3 einfach klasse, ist eine schöne Abwechslung zu den F1-Autos. Da muss man wirklich extrem genau fahren, um schnell zu sein, besonders auf diesem höllischen Kurs von gestern. Da kamen die guten Zeiten auch nur unter vollem Risiko des Abflugs in den heiklen Passagen der Gegengerade und im Geschlängel vor Start und Ziel zustande - immer Vollgas.
Auch zu Schalt- und Bremspunkten muss man sich ein paar mehr Gedanken machen, sehr hilfreich ist dabei der Tachometer im Display-Modifier. Oft ist dritter Gang und wenig Drehzahl effektiv schneller als zweiter Gang am Anschlag. Auch die Spätbremser - vielleicht von F1 her so gewohnt - sieht man wegen des geringeren Grip doch häufig im Gras. Ferdi, das war wirklich der Hammer gestern, dauernd den Brabbel Ton im Ohr und auch noch das quietschen der Reifen hab ich doppelt gehört-klasse

Hab mich echt nie getraut die riskanten Geschlängel voll zu fahren weil ich echt nervös war Ein Quersteher und du wärst an der Geraden vorbeigezogen.

Ja, die F3 sind irgendwie total anders zu fahren.
Da geht nicht wie bei den F1 einfach hartes anbremsen und dann in die Kuve werfen.
Bei den F3 Wagen lasse ich persönlich den Wagen in die Kurve "reingleiten", also möglichst hastige und starke Lenkeinschläge vermeiden, das kostet einfach zuviel.

Und wenn der Hinmtern mal weggeht ist es bei den F3 meistens schon ein sicherer Dreher, Gegenlenken ist da nicht mehr erfolgreich.

Von daher kann ich gar nicht verstehen, daß die F3-Fahrzeuge in GPL als "Anfängerwagen" bezeichnet werden. Welche ein Frevel! F3 ist Rennen fahren für die wirklich harten Jungs. (deswegen sehe ich als Bergaufbremser und Schattenparker dabei immer so schlecht aus)

Seit ich weiß, wie man F3 mit KI-Gegnern fahren kann, macht auch das F3-Training richtig Spaß. Mit Blue Mountain hatten wir gestern auch ne super F3-Strecke, hier hab ich mit dem Ferrari keine Power vermisst. Mexico könnte da schon etwas schwieriger werden wegen der ellenlangen Start/Ziel-Geraden.

Na ja, es war halt schon immer so, dass sich bei F3 die Geister scheiden. F3 ist kein Modus, bei dem man mal so nebenbei auf die Schnelle mit einsteigen kann. Das F3-Fahren will genauso wie in der F1 in mühevoller Kleinarbeit gelernt sein, nur mit dem Unterschied, dass wir uns alle schon an das F1-Fahren gewöhnt haben. Auffällig ist, dass die Beteiligung bei den F3-Rennen jedesmal dann in den Keller ging, wenn unbekannte Addon-Strecken gefahren wurden. Anscheinend ist die Bereitschaft, sich an Neues und Ungewohntes heranzuarbeiten, allgemein eher gering (faule Säcke ).

Ich hatte gehofft, dass dem nicht so ist und dass die Zahl der F3-Fans deshalb mit der Zeit etwas größer werden würde. Viele, die es gutwillig probiert haben, sind dann aber leider wieder abgesprungen. Da wir hier keinen zu seinem Glück zwingen können, muss man das wohl respektieren. Wenn die Mehrheit sich hier für eine andere Rennserie entscheiden sollte, wär ich natürlich auch dabei.
