@Hans Marfan In general I think I have more GPL experience than (most of) you. Maybe I'm just lucky being a training talent, even when I don't practise as much as I used to do. Also did a lot of research in GPL physics with my comeback in 2014. Cost me some years still to use rather practice than theory, for optimal grip. Always setting up for ideal hot pressures all around, if and when possible. (theory is 24psi fronts/26psi rears, practice and for my driving style 25psi all around). Often run the same suspension setups (and same diffs), and then finetuning camber and tirepressures (for optimal grip). And gearings for the track chanracteristic. Roll bars for balance, softer in general for slower tracks. Stiffer for faster tracks.
As far I can judge, Kelvin seems to be a setup master. Also some of you drive cleaner than me, considering shifting and lines.
My lines aren't still the best, but I can drive with good momentum, and generally have good exits. I'd say I can adapt well and make good use of different car characteristics. I have always tried to improve my weaker points (tight turns among other things), and to build on my stronger points (fast cornering, exiting). Switching to G25 wheel and pedals, and triple monitors in 2017 for better cockpit FOV also helped a lot.
@Fabian I will always try to avoid the cars in front, and will take safer margins when approaching braking points when slower cars are ahead. In the end we all make mistakes, but please do not worry about me being behind
IMO some have more potential than me, but you have also to be open for newer or other approaches.
